Custom Work
It is our opinion that every show tank should make people stop and stare whether they like aquariums or not.

Our Aquascapes are a huge step in the right direction but an aquarium still needs to be framed correctly to take it to show piece levels. We scratch built the tank above starting with a blank wall with one door already installed. We mirrored the door and built the aquarium stand and bookshelves to spec and we did it with approximately 50% recycled oak materials.

Although we built the display above totally in house these days we generally contract out our carpentry work. That said, for custom work having a qualified person who has actually done the work overseeing the installation is a huge plus.

Custom stands and canopies
We often have furniture grade stands that you will not find any where else. Stands like this corner stand are one of kind custom pieces that we bring in from a variety of sources outside of the traditional aquarium industry.

There are so many variations that it is not possible to cover them here but the key is thinking outside of the box a little bit. Wall tanks are another favorite and they do not all have to be large or complex installations. Small tanks mounted in the wall and then framed like a picture are an excellent way of dressing up a waiting room or office.

We can do all types of frames and the aquarium does not have to intrude through the wall into the room behind the aquarium or it can built to be viewed from either side.

With our ability to create custom aquascapes we can build in wall aquariums that are viewable from either side and yet offer privacy for both sides.

Another method of giving a custom look is to build an aquarium system that appears to be built in but is in fact a stand alone unit that can be moved with out requiring any construction or repairs.

The advantage of these beside the ability to easily remove it is that it can be built off site and moved to the location when it is time to set it up. This makes for a no muss, no fuss custom install.

This type of stand can also be built to be used as a center room divider and could have options like magazine racks or a flat panel TV below the aquarium.

The conventional off the shelve aquarium stand and canopy can still give a custom look, especially with one of our Aquascape's installed.

Done right and placed correctly one of our aquariums will always improve any environment and improve the moods of all who spent time around it.

In Recent studies it has been shown that even aquariums filled with only water and having no fish still help relax people and makes time go by faster.
